SUNDAY -- July 21 - SOUTH DAKOTA

Arrived in DeSmet -- The Little Town on the Prairie from the Laura Ingalls Wilder books.

Our overnight accommodations were at a Bed & Breakfast that was a remodeled bank building from the time the Ingalls lived here.

The place was beautifully refinished - but up lots of stairs!  We ate a hasty supper at the DQ/Subway and then went out to see the last performance of the Wilder Pageant for the season.
